Curb Appeal
First, look at the exterior of your house, better known as your curb appeal. Examine the exterior of your home from a street perspective. What jumps out at you? What unique characteristics seem hidden? Acknowledging this assists us in determining what plan of action we can use to attract buyers from the street and into your house. If your home isn't attractive on the outside with touched up paint and colorful greenery we'll need to address those as well. Refer to the Curb Appeal Checklist and boost your home's final selling price.

"Welcome to your new home!"
Does your home seem to say, "This is Your Next House" to a buyer? Examining your home with a buyer's eye, I'll suggest adjustments that improve market appeal. I'll advise you eliminate anything that gives the look of clutter. Table and counter tops should be neatly arranged. Arts and crafts, souvenirs, family photos, and play time works of art should get stored away too. I can help you de-clutter your house. Less than inviting or busy spaces make your home look unkempt and buyers have a harder time imagining themselves calling your property "home".
I know instantly what a room's best features are and how to show them off. Improvements that directly impact your dollars include fixable like furniture pieces that should get removed, rooms that need neutral paint, carpet that needs to be steamed, fixtures that need shining, and windows that need cleaning.
I'll make sure your house has mass appeal and that it's inviting, staying away from "offensive" or "too-bright" hues on the walls and furniture. And if you've already moved out, you can think about renting furnishings. You want your home to look ready to live in as opposed to bare and uninhabited.

Setting the Stage The entire time your house in on the market, we want to engage the buyer's senses. Brightening up each room is of major importance, so we'll do things like open curtains and add lighting where needed to invite the buyer inside. Together we'll enhance the ambiance with enjoyable music to listen to while guests tour your home and assure a nice aroma flows room-to-room. We'll incorporate cozy-looking throws, and place pillows on your sofa and bed. We want buyers to feel like your house is their future home. |
